An autobiographical work with abstract elements mixing with representational.
The spilled blood representing heritage (a bloodline), the cloud at the top coming through the door representing as my father said, "way too much of a dreamer," the penny symbolizing his worry about my ability to be practical and earn money. The cairn (pile of rocks) is there to represent my mother... Irish tomb.
The rock in the bottom center stands for me from the cliche - A trapezoid peg in a square hole, meaning how well I fit into the 9 to 5 work world.
